I love this weeks prompt of colour. The difficult bit was choosing only one image. I was going to go for the subtle “yellow” upturned boat in the dunes, or the “red” phone box in an unexpected place.
Maybe their time will come, but the final choice is the “gentle” clash of colour of the guests at a wedding in Cordoba, near Seville. The church was down an alley way as we walked past, and at first glance I thought it must be a fancy dress party or flamenco competition.
But no, these are guests waiting to go into church for a wedding. I’m assuming it is the custom & culture to be so bold. Can you imagine this happening at Wigan Register Office on a wet weekend? So much for not wanting any of your guests to clash with the bridesmaids? I bet the reception was a riot though!
