I'm a thirty something (OK I'm 40 in October) mum of three children, aged 16, 7 and 2.

I work part-time for a Business Start Up initiative & I have a part-time photography business - Freckles Photography, which keeps me busy, and my passion alive.

As an avid reader of other people's blogs I thought I had better get cracking with mine so I can record some memories of our family life, which is flying by at an astonishingly fast pace. I also like to blog about my other hobbies of reading, knitting & other crafts.

The Gallery: Quiet Life

Sandbanks, Dorset. October 2008

This weeks prompt from Tara at Sticky Fingers is Still Life. To be interpreted anyway we like. I choose the image above as it reminds me of sitting, quietly amongst the grasses on the beach, listening to the wind rustling through. The children were squealing and laughing in the distance running through the dunes. Life wasn’t ‘still’ but it was certainly slow.

Brilliant photo, I went to Sandbanks Hotel when I was about 10 and remember it very clearly.
