I'm a thirty something (OK I'm 40 in October) mum of three children, aged 16, 7 and 2.

I work part-time for a Business Start Up initiative & I have a part-time photography business - Freckles Photography, which keeps me busy, and my passion alive.

As an avid reader of other people's blogs I thought I had better get cracking with mine so I can record some memories of our family life, which is flying by at an astonishingly fast pace. I also like to blog about my other hobbies of reading, knitting & other crafts.

Timeless Classic

When I was asked to review a product by Hello Baby , they kindly suggested a wooden toy after describing what stage my little one was at. I was instantly drawn to the Brio Toddler Wobbler

It required very little assembly – just an easy bolt and screw of the handle to the wooden tray.

My little one was at the stage where he was able to walk along the furniture, but didn’t have the confidence to go it alone just yet. The push along truck was great as it was sturdy enough that it didn’t tip back and has a brake mechanism to slow down the wheels.

You can also see in his truck the 51 piece wooden blocks set. It is fascinating to watch him build these and knock them down. I have caught my 6 year old and their Dad playing with these blocks too.
