Finished It Friday – Knitted Floral Corsage – Debbie Bliss

I don’t know about Finished it Friday today, I feel like it will finish me off. I have been on my own with three kids all week whilst my husband has been on a golf jolly in Portugal. I can’t believe Friday is here at last – he is home tonight.

So, with great pride on the achievement of actually finishing anything, I present the floral corsage from the wonderful Debbie Bliss’ The Knitter’s Year. I’ve made quite a few things already from this book and there are lots more I’m itching to get going on. It was very quick to knit up and assemble and is great for using up little oddments of yarn.

I also finished A Week in December by Sebastion Faulks, but wouldn’t really recommend it, unless you like to make your own mind up about things rather than take my word for it – you have been warned.

So what have you finished in the last week or so? A book, planting up a veg patch, a bit of sewing or baking? Link up and we can all have a nosy.

Love it! Love the combination of colours too. Must try it sometime. I used to be a passionate knitter, and dressmaker, then had kids, and now Lunchbox World is my baby erm world… xxx

I'll tell Peter that you said I have to put my feet up. He can't argue with you. x

That's so cute – I love it! I have that Debbie Bliss book and am about to start knitting the peg bag. It's a gorgeous book.

Crochet has never been my forte. I did get to grips with the basics early in the year though, but haven't really gone back to it yet. I have a really easy crochet book mark pattern though. I'll have to dig it out and post it. Good luck, can't wait to see what you come up with.
