We’ve had the warmest April for 350 years in central England, and it has been 150% more sunny than the average April. How bizarre, as we have also had the most bank holidays in that same month than many of us can remember. It is usually a given that bank holiday means rain, so I think we will look back with fondness on April 2011, the month of great weather, (too many school) holidays & The Wedding.
I don’t know what happens in the winter months to my sunglasses, but I am still hunting for mine. The children have numerous pairs, and they too are noticeable by their absence. Perhaps they are lurking with the odd socks somewhere. I’ve even checked under the bed and in the man drawer!
