Last month Jen at Mum in the Madhouse ran a Books by my bedside meme. I loved having a peek into other people’s reading piles. I always clear off my books each month as I’ve read them and set up my next reading pile. I usually have to have read them within the month as I go to so many reading groups – it’s a great incentive to keep me on track. So I got through all of last months pile and above is what I have on the go for April.
I was given Tiny Sunbirds Far Away by my Mum for Christmas and after @LauraAWNTYM tweeted how much she’d enjoyed it I moved it up the TBR pile. It is also in the Spring sale at Amazon Kindle until 12th April – currently £1.89, so if anyone wants to read along and compare notes at the end of the month, I’d be delighted to have a natter about it.
The Calligrapher’s Secretis for a library reading group, it’s been on our wish list for a while, so I hope it lives up to expectations. I picked up Waiting for Sunrise and Rules of Civility at the library after they were mentioned by other reading group members as being worthy reads.
So what are you reading this month? Let me know if Tiny Sunbirds Far Away grabs you.
