Sooo late in posting this, but as Andy Murray is doing so well (fingers crossed) let’s hope all our positive thinking around Wimbledon cake can spur him on further.
If you are looking for a lovely summer cake, with a bit of zing – from the orange zest in the sponge and the passion fruit in the filling, then this is a perfect cake.
It was delicious! It’s only downfall is that it does need eating on the day that you fill it, but my neighbour appreciated the leftover slices that went their way to save any waste.
