The Breezy Baby Blanket has been completed for a few weeks, but I was umming and ahhing over finishing it with a crochet shell edging. I thought it looked a bit raw without an edging but was nervous about making it a bit twee, and to be honest botching it. I took a gamble though and think it paid off. I firstly edged it with a row of single crochet, then a row of half treble and then crochet shell edging loosely based on directions here.

I did my usual baby card, for babies with short names, unfortunately you can’t fit a Charlotte or Alexander on a nappy pin.
Little Isaac is gorgeous, and was looking adoringly into his mummy’s eyes when I visited him last week.

So what have you finished in the last week or so, some craft, a book, the first half term of the year?

liveotherwise - That's really lovely, and I like the card idea too!
FrecklesFamily - Thanks Jax, it was surprisingly quick and very easy. Definitely one I\’ll do again.
Merry - Tat is gorgeous! Don't think I had better link up my not finished one this week but maybe next week. I treasure our card :)
Mummy Liz - The nappy pin card is brilliant, what a great idea.
Alexis - I recently finished two Breezy blankets and I agree, they look bare unfinished! You have inspired me to crochet edging around them! Beautiful :)
