Finished It Friday – The 40th Birthday Edition

Well the thirties are very much finished! How do you get to 40 or thirty ten as I like to think of it, when only yesterday you were finishing A-levels and starting Uni? I’m in a very different place turning forty compared to ten years ago when I was staring down the barrel of thirty.

My thirties have been fantastic! I’ve gained a husband, two more children, a dog, and my first born is nearly an adult herself!

I’m really looking forward to this next decade, and feel really appreciative of everything I have in my life, my family and friends being right up there in the happy making category.

To top it all off, Mr has blown me away with a surprise trip to Barcelona – we’re going at lunch time. So I’d better get off here and out of my PJ’s.
