It’s been lovely seeing the tweets and reports flying around during June about how much everyone was enjoying Water for Elephants. I was very restrained and waited until everyone had received their books from Amazon (courtesy of Appliances online – thank you), before I started to more »  Every Monday Isil over at Smiling Like Sunshine shares a children’s book that she and her little one love. This week it’s Lost and Found which is a classic that we’ve had in our library for many moons. I saw her prompt for the post and had to share a book that has given us more »  I haven’t finished anything craft wise this week, partly due to a fab long weekend away to the North East with out the children – first time away without them for nearly six years, it was fantastic. I haven’t read any of Faulks other novels but know he is held in high regard, particularly for Bird Song & Charlotte Gray. Perhaps A Week in December isn’t typical of his work?
