I have an overdue thank you to make for November’s Secret Post gift. Many thanks to Anne for a delightful gift of  a copy of Pride & Prejudice, which is long overdue a re-visit. Also a Charles Dickens Tangerine, Juniper & Clove candle in a tin which is so much the smell of Christmas, it’s gorgeous. I haven’t even had to light it, I just lift the lid for ten minutes & the room smells fantastic.

Yesterday, I’d had an awful day. My little one couldn’t go to nursery due to an eye infection and I had so many deadlines and running around to do. I got back in from taking him to the Doctors and was frazzled. I walked in to a lovely parcel from Sandy over at Baby Baby. The book comes with a personal recommendation, and is written by her friend and tutor. It sounds great and I look forward to getting intimate with it.

The little note card says that I could share the teddy bear chocolates with my children. Well yes, I could, but seen as the only thing they share with me at the moment is germs, I have kept this secret pressie, secret.

The brilliant Heather over at Notes from Lapland has organised a secret post swap. I signed up this month, and had a lovely thank you yesterday from Auntie Gwen who received my gift. Today a beautiful parcel arrived and all the goodies above were my gift.  They were from completely new to me leslieanne from Kooky Boutique Go and take a look at her website and store for some very original cards. Thank you leslieanne for the wonderful gifts, we can’t wait to plant the seeds. The bookmark is very appropriate, I’ll wave it at any child that comes near!
