Hoping not to fail after the first week, but I’m giving a #366 photo project a go this year.

What a lovely way to end January, a night at Clandestine Cake Club, Warrington with lovely peeps. Highly recommended to lift the gloom of Winter.

We play hide and seek A LOT at the moment. Little ones are so funny aren’t they. Always choosing the same place to hide and being really surprised when you find them.
My big girl. She’s worked so hard this weekend, essays, drawing, reading, maths. She even fitted in a party Friday night, day with boyfriend yesterday and some ironing for me today. I could learn a thing or two from her.

He had sneaked into his big sister’s bedroom and treated himself to a bit of New Romantic styling, black lipstick and gold hairband.
It’s certainly a look, no? Someone on Blipfoto suggested he looks like Eddie Izzard, I think I’d have to agree.
Click on the 366 to see everyone’s favourites from this week.

He asked for a story after breakfast, I said ‘I don’t have time to read you one at the moment, we have to take Amelie to school.’ He said ‘I’ll read you a story, then Mummy.’ Crafty!
Project #366 #366/25 Can you tell what it is?

Yesterday’s crafty plans were scuppered by a very badly timed power cut. I’ve been spurred on to get some stuff on the go, and have everything cut out. Can you tell what it is going to be? I’ll give you a clue, it’s two separate items, left and right. Hopefully more will be revealed tomorrow.

In an effort to get my crafting mojo back I got all the lovely fabric I’ve bought out to start planning what I’m going to make. I was just about to get the iron out and start pinning and cutting out, when we had a power cut! So determined to get going on this tomorrow.

It was like comedy rain this morning, with buckets of water being thrown at the window. Barely able to see out of the glass.

Poor little daffodils (narcissi) have made an early appearance and are braving the wind and the rain.
